The Outlander M-1944, while externally reminiscent of the SVT-40, SKS rifles and it's earlier counterpart the Outlander M-1940, is mechanically similar to the M1 Garand. It is capable of accepting stripper clips, which can be used to load 5 or 10 -round detachable box magazines. The Outlander M-1944 was developed off of the Outlander M-1940, Soviet army officials were in search of the next generation rifle to replace the old and dated Mossin-Nangant.  Sevvanian weapons designers answered the call and presented the Soviet government with the Outlander M-1940, trials were conducted and Soviet army officials were so impressed they demanded they be put into production. Ishvek answered the call and developed the Outlander M-1944 as a response, various updates were made with the new design. Designs such as a tactical compensator, fire selector switch and a built in cleaning kit in the buttstock of the rifle. Scopes on the Outlander M-1944 are very common, as they were a popular sniper weapon amongst the Red army. The rifle served through the rest of the war and was replaced by the AK-47 only a few years after.

The stock pouch could use some shading, but overall, it's a very nice rifle.
